Small Steps, Big Hearts: Kookoobany’s Initiative for Burkina Faso

A Heartfelt Contribution

We're thrilled to share that through your purchases with Kookoobany we were able to donate 200 CHF towards aiding internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Burkina Faso, resulting in the purchase of 30 bags of around 5 kgs of pasta. That does not seem a lot from here, but this contribution from our very young company has directly supported 30 women and their families, offering them essential nourishment in this challenging times.

A Personal Connection to the Cause

Initially, our intention was to support global humanitarian efforts through a donation to the Red Cross. However, our journey took a heartfelt turn when Safy's father, Hyacinthe Karambiri, became actively involved in addressing the needs of IDPs in Burkina Faso. Witnessing his dedication to sourcing food for those affected, we were deeply moved and realized the immediate need for direct action.

Understanding the Crisis

The situation for IDPs in Burkina Faso is extremely challenging, with over 920,000 individuals facing dire circumstances due to escalating violence, especially in the Sahel Region. These communities are in urgent need of shelter, food, and health services. Your purchases have not only brought joy and value to your lives but have also contributed to providing much-needed support to those in desperate need.

The Power of Collective Action

This achievement is a testament to the power of collective action. Each purchase you make not only brings joy to your life but also extends a lifeline to those in desperate need. We are deeply grateful for your continued support, which has allowed us to contribute positively to the global community.

Expanding Our Impact

As we move forward, we're inspired to amplify our efforts. With your help, we can extend our reach and impact even more lives. Together, let's continue to make a difference.

Gratitude and Moving Forward

Thank you for being an integral part of our journey to make a difference in the lives of those facing the greatest challenges.
